Part of the RETOLD project by Arts Council Malta, \u2018Constellations from the Quarry\u2019 presents the several outcomes which led to the installation of URNA: the award-winning Malta pavilion at the London Design Biennale 2025<\/strong>. <\/p>

URNA proposes a future ritual for bodily disposition, using reconstituted stone to create large spherical structures arranged in the form of a constellation – a field of memory. <\/p>

The exhibition is not only visually intriguing, but also symbolic of the way the team worked and how their different references came together!<\/strong><\/p>

URNA comes at an important time, when cremation is legalised in Malta but no crematoria exist<\/strong>, providing an offering within this current reality.\u00a0<\/p>
