Join us on Friday 23rd January 2026<\/strong> at the UNESCO World Heritage site of \u0126a\u0121ar Qim for a special evening where the prehistoric world meets the night sky<\/strong>. Organised in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Malta<\/strong>, this event blends astronomy and archaeology in an unforgettable setting.<\/p>

Participants will be divided into two groups: one will join a curator\u2019s tour of \u0126a\u0121ar Qim, discovering its 5000-year-old architecture and its relationship with the surrounding landscape, while the other will take part in a guided astronomy session with telescope observations of Jupiter, Saturn, the Moon, and other deep-sky objects.<\/p>

Each activity will be offered once in Maltese and once in English<\/strong>. After the first session, groups will switch so all participants can experience both the astronomy session and the archaeological tour. The event runs from 6:45pm to 9:30pm.<\/strong><\/p>

Light nibbles will be served before the activities begin, and comfortable footwear is recommended.<\/strong><\/p>
